FAQ

    CREDIT CARDS 
    There are 2 valid credit cards that can be used in the Volvo Penta Web Shop: VISA and Master Card.

    DELIVERY TIME 
    The normal delivery time is 5-10 working days within North America and Europe. For other countries delivery may take up to 15 working days.

    WEB BROWSER 
    The Volvo Penta Web Shop is compatible with Internet Explorer version 8 or higher. If you experience any problems and are using a different browser, please install the appropriate version of Internet Explorer in your computer and try again.

    VAT/SALES TAX 
    7% sales tax is applied to orders shipped to the U.S. State of Georgia. 6% VAT/sales tax is applied to orders shipped to European Union countries.

    IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES 
    The recipient of the order is responsible for any import duties and taxes charged by the recipient's country. No duties or taxes (except for VAT/Sales Tax, see above) are added when shipping to the U.S. and European Union countries.

    HOW TO SEARCH FOR A PUBLICATION WITH A KNOWN PUBLICATION NUMBER
    If you are searching for a publication with a known publication number (7 digit number on the back of the publication) enter this number in the "Publication number" search box in the left panel of the Web Shop. Then click the "Search" button adjacent to the search box.

    HOW TO SEARCH FOR A PUBLICATION BY ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION MODEL
    Select publication type and language. Then select if you are searching for an industrial or a marine engine after that select model from the "Engine / Transmission model" drop down list. Start the search by clicking the right arrow button next to the "Search" text at the bottom of the form.

    WHY DO I GET THE BUTTON "REPLACED" WHEN I SEARCH FOR A PUBLICATION? 
    Volvo Penta continually updates its product information. Minor changes only result in a new issue of the same publication number while major changes result in a new publication with a new publication number. Click the button to show the publication that has replaced the one your searching for.

    WHY ARE THERE NO PUBLICATIONS OF TYPE x AVAILABLE FOR MY ENGINE?
    Some old engines may only have a few publication types available. Do-it-yourself manuals are only available for a part of the Volvo Penta range of engines.

    WHY DO I ONLY FIND ONE TYPE OF DOCUMENT WHEN I SEARCH?
    Searches are made per document type. To search for another document type, click on the "Home" menu to return to search form and change document type before searching again..

    WHY IS MY ENGINE NOT AVAILABLE IN THE "Engine/Transmission" SUGGESTION FIELD?
    The "Engine/Transmission" suggestion field only list engines that have publications available for sale through the Volvo Penta Web Shop. If your engine model is not in the "Engine/Transmission" suggestion field, please contact EWSSupportSweden@elanders.com and state your engine designation and what kind of publication(s) you were searching for.

    HOW DO I FIND MY LOCAL VOLVO PENTA DEALER?
